Good question, an MFT-Intern has a graduate degree and is working toward licensure hours working under supervision of a seasoned Marriage and Family Therapist until hours are met. 


Therapy is an opportunity to discuss/talk about issues that are important to the client,. Therapy can be about one specific problem, or it can be about multiple.It can be about present situations of things from the past that still appear to be bothersome.  Therapy is for EVERYONE. Truly everyone can benefit from sharing their feelings and emotions to an unbiased person in a safe space. Therapy is collaborative and it takes an active role from the client 


People often see a therapist for a variety of reasons. Sometimes an event or situation occurs that causes an individual to seek out help, while for others, they may attend therapy because it provides a trained objective person to help them work through some issues they may have been struggling with for years.
